About

Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where three friends kept sending each other download links. At some point we figured we might as well write things down properly, so here we are. The idea is simple: small indie mobile titles deserve a fair read from people who finished them.,We don't chase the biggest releases. What interests us are the quirky projects made by tiny teams — the puzzle game with a weird art style, the racing game with one great idea, the RPG that respects your time. If it runs on a phone and has something honest about it, we want to try it.,Every game gets real hours before we write a word. Somebody on the team plays it to a point where an opinion is earned, then two others check whether that opinion holds. We note the friction, the controls, the moments that made us keep the screen on longer than planned.,We're not perfect and our taste is our taste. But we promise the reviews come from actual play sessions, not marketing decks. If we got something wrong, tell us and we'll say so.
